Legacy of the Tobolsk isographer

Dear readers!

We present to your attention the virtual exhibition “The Legacy of Tobolsk isographer”, dedicated to the unique works of the remarkable cartographer, architect, geographer and builder Semyon Ulyanovich Remezov.

The books have come down to us in the form of geographical atlases, known as “Horographic Drawing Book” (1697-1711), “Drawing Book of Siberia” (1699-1701) and “Service Drawing Book of Siberia” (1702), as well as “Remezov's Chronicle”.

You can get acquainted with the editions in the Museum of Book of Surgut State University Library and Information Centre at Lenin pr. 1.
