Eurasian Region Patent Documentation Collections
The Eurasian Region Patent Documentation Collections system was developed by the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) and is an information retrieval system providing access to world, regional and national patent documentation collections. The Russian-language collection is represented in Eurasian Region Patent Documentation Collections by patent documentation of the EAPO, Russia, national patent offices of the Eurasian region, including documentation of the countries-participants of the Eurasian Patent Convention. Various types of patent searches are provided. As a result of the search the lists of found collection documents are formed and their abstract and bibliographic entries are provided.
Features of the system
- Availability in the system of a Russian-language collection of patent documentation, including Soviet, Russian, Eurasian and national documentation.
- Convenience and ease of use. The “one tab” principle realised in the system allows the user to conduct multidimensional patent searches in several official languages simultaneously both in local databases and in external open access databases of the Internet.
- Developed service capabilities of the system. For example, statistical data on search results are displayed for each query, including for each search index separately. The structure of the composed query can be viewed before sending it to the server. Query analyser programs provide recommendations on further actions in case of getting zero search results. For each found document, hyperlinks to external databases are automatically generated, providing the possibility of obtaining the document description and additional information about it from external sources.
