Bibliographic managers
Programmes developed for storing bibliographic data, full texts and the preparation of references and reference lists allow you to exchange information with colleagues, share links to articles and receive prompt feedback. When choosing a bibliographic manager, you can install a stationary programme on your computer, work online, or universally online+offline. Universal bibliographic managers are suitable for use by both individual users and research teams.
Zotero
Suitable for both individual and collaborative work, for cloud storage of full text articles in your personal or collective library. Zotero is a personalised abstracting application, made as a plugin for Firefox or Chrome.
Mendeley
A free universal universal bibliographic manager and academic social network. In addition to the standard bibliographic manager functionality, Mendeley allows you to search reference lists to find colleagues who cite the same sources.
A bibliographic information management system used to manage citations and bibliographies. A free package is provided in the online version of the programme – EndNote Online.
