What is the difference between RSCI and RSCI Core?
Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) is a bibliographic database, Russian journal shelf on the Web of Science platform. The rules of its formation and maintenance of the information array are set out in the Regulations.
RSCI is a paid database. Placing a journal in RSCI does not mean that the journal is indexed in WoS, but a part of journals from the list is included in some indexes of Web of Science Core Collection.
The RSCI core is all publications of Russian authors in journals indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, Scopus and RSCI databases. The best monographs and proceedings of authoritative scientific conferences are also included in the core. The RSCI core is recommended for evaluating the most qualitative component of the array of publications of Russian scientists.
