For researchers

On the basis of the Library and Information Centre, the Department of Research Support provides comprehensive information support for the research work of users in the following areas:

• organising and conducting educational events to educate academic staff, employees, postgraduates and undergraduates of Surgut State University on modern methods of information retrieval, development of competences of university authors in the field of publishing activity;
• Consulting and methodological support of Surgut State University authors on issues of preparation and publication of articles in scientific journals, on opportunities to promote the results of scientific research, ways and mechanisms to increase the citability of articles, as well as editing and keeping up-to-date author profiles in citation databases.
• Monitoring and analysing the publishing activity of structural units and university employees according to the data of international scientific citation databases.

Identification of ways to activate the publishing activity of academic staff and provision of correct display of Surgut State University publishing activity in the scientometric databases.
