Ordering books for the collection

The Library and Information Centre of Surgut State University offers scientific and pedagogical workers and university staff to cooperate in the formation of the library collection.

The LIC collection is the most significant information and educational resource of Surgut State University and is designed to fully satisfy the multifaceted information needs of all categories of Library users for scientific, educational, cultural and enlightening purposes.

The collection of the Library and Information Centre is regulated by the “Regulations on the system of collections of the Scientific Library of Surgut State University” and “Thematic-typological plan of archiving of the Scientific Library of Surgut State University” and reflects the themes of the main areas of research work of the University and the subjects of the University's educational programmes.

Documents on non-profile subjects for the University are not being purchased for the collection.
