Rules of Use of the Library and Information Centre of Surgut State University

General Provisions

1. The library organises information and library services for students, academic staff, professorial staff and other employees of the University in accordance with their 

information needs on the basis of an open access to information and provides them with free basic and paid additional information and library services.

2. Indivuduals, who are not students or employees of Surgut State University and are over 14 years of age, have the right to use the Library on a free basis.

3. The right to use the Library may also be granted to legal entities subject to the conclusion of a contract (co-operation agreement) with the University.

4. Information and library service of users is provided in reading rooms and other departments of the LIC, as well as in the remote access via the web-site, social media, e-mail, electronic delivery of documents.

5. The document giving the right to use the Library is a library card. A library card has the status of a permanent or single use (temporary) document.
