Replacement of lost/damaged books

1. In case of documents` loss or damage from the library's collection it is necessary to replace the lost or damaged library book with an identical or equivalent edition, and in case of impossibility of replacement – to compensate the restoration (average) cost of the book for the current year.

2. It is best to consult with the library staff to determine a replacement option: they will suggest identical titles of the same subject matter and value.

3. Before replacing a lost or damaged book, the reader should return all documents with expired terms of use to the library and, if necessary, pay for the right to use the document beyond the established period of time, including the right to use the lost/ damaged document (see “Price list for additional (paid) services of the LIC”).
